Smart Money
Project Overview
Smart Money is a capstone project from the University of Washington’s UX Design certification course, completed in summer 2024. This project tackles a complex financial challenge, using an in-depth UX design process to create a user-centered solution. Through extensive user research, we identified key needs and pain points, resulting in a design that effectively addresses these findings with an intuitive, practical approach.
Challenge
Design a Solution Rooted in User Insights.
Test and Refine Product for Seamless User Flows.
Develop a Cohesive User Interface and Brand Consistency.
Result
Given the time constraints and the current scope of user research and testing, this iteration provides a solid foundation for addressing the problem statement. Additional exploration of unique touchpoints within the application could help differentiate it from other financial apps on the market. Moreover, enhancing the app to accommodate users who prefer not to sync their financial information would expand accessibility and appeal, allowing for greater inclusivity and user control.
